Kids Dental Education Program

Our dental and nutritional health programs reach out to children by creating a dynamic experience dedicated to helping students learn by participating and doing. Our presentations are designed for both an in-class experience as well as a field trip experience where children come to Kids Dental to learn and interact in Grinich Village, our health discovery center.

It is designed to enhance public health learning.

More than a field trip, Grinich Village is a fun filled journey in an environment that encourages co-operative learning.  Children interact with exhibits, adults, and each other in creative and imaginative ways.

It is our mission to instill a sense of excitement within children about their dental health and overall well-being.

Our Educational Programs Include:

1) In class presentations or,

2) Class field trips to Grinich Village, our health discovery center.

3) Interactive learning games and tools.

4) A Dental Health Educational Co-ordinator with grade specific programs and presentations.

Videos geared towards helping children understand what to expect when going to the dentist as well as proper oral hygiene techniques.

An activity package for each student, with educational material supporting good dental health and eating habits; an informative parental brochure.

Our school programs are:

Approximately 30-45 minutes in length, however, can be tailored to meet the needs of the teacher.

Planning a Field Trip?

The Grinich Village – health discovery center is designed as a special place where children enrich their lifelong exploration of their ever-expanding world. In creating educational presentations, exhibits, and activities, children discover various aspects of dental and nutritional wellness. Along with a stage and sitting area for presentations and workshops there are interactive learning stations and a market where children can learn about the nutritional facts of foods.
